At JKAV (Jayanthi Kumaresh Academy for Veena), students have the opportunity to learn in two formats – LIVE Masterclasses and Pre-Recorded Courses.

Masterclasses: Masterclasses are LIVE sessions held on ZOOM at a scheduled date and time. Students log in and learn directly from Dr. Jayanthi Kumaresh in an interactive class environment, making it a unique and engaging experience.

Courses: Courses give students the flexibility to learn at their own pace and include:

Missed a LIVE Masterclass? No worries! JKAV offers recordings of select past Masterclasses, so students can purchase and learn from them as though attending the live session.

• Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Lessons

 A structured learning path designed for every level of student – from beginners taking their first steps, to advanced learners aiming to refine their skills. (These lessons will be uploaded soon.)

You can only register for one masterclass/course in one transaction. Simply complete the payment for the first and then register for the next.

No. Each account is meant for a single student only. Your account serves as your exclusive login credential to access classes and courses, and therefore cannot be shared or used by more than one person.

We accept both Indian and International currency through our payment gateway provider, Razorpay.

The class will be conducted over ZOOM. It would be good to have the ZOOM app installed on your laptop or desktop.

Stable internet connection on a browser of your choice and any device that supports ZOOM 🙂

While it is possible to view the class on the phone, for the best learning experience, we suggest that you join the class from a laptop, iPad, tablet or desktop with a larger viewing area so the finer nuances of playing are visible clearly.

Yes. If you are unable to attend the class due to a personal reason or emergency, you will still have access to the recording of the session. Please refer to the FAQ on “Are the recordings of the LIVE Masterclasses available for later viewing?” for detailed information on how to access your recording.

The link to the class will be enabled 30 minutes before the beginning of the class. You will see the JOIN button enabled on your “My classes” dashboard of the Jayanthi Kumaresh Academy Website. Click on the JOIN button to enter the class. We have created a simple and easy guide for you to watch and get familiar with the website.

Yes. Recordings of LIVE Masterclasses will be available within 3–4 days after the session.

Once the recording is ready, you will receive an email from Strings Attached with step-by-step instructions on how to access your class. A support video is also provided to guide you through the process.

Your class recording will then be permanently available on this platform for you to revisit anytime.

The lesson will be over ZOOM. There will be a group of people in one class. We cannot have everyone play at the same time. While the artist teaches, everyone has to be on mute to listen and practice. There will be instances during the session when she will request a few from the group to unmute and play at a time.

At the end of each Masterclass, the artist will share ideas on how to practice the lessons learnt during class effectively. If you have any specific doubts, you can always reach out to us at support@www.jayanthikumaresh.com and we will revert to you with a response from the artist.

The aim is to have at least one masterclass a month and they will be tailored to satisfy particular skill levels.

Each class will call out the pre requisites to register. At present, the Academy will focus on students with a minimum skill level, based on the class offered.

There may be coupons available for certain classes, either as early bird discount or special offers. The codes may be sent as emails to subscribers or announced on social media along with valid usage. When you register, you can type the coupon code and click “Apply Coupon” to avail this feature.

Yes. You may cancel your registration directly from your “My Classes” Dashboard.

Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before the class begins (all timings are calculated in IST).

Upon cancellation, your fees (minus transaction charges) will be refunded within 5–7 business days.

If it is less than 24 hours, instead of a refund you will be able to access the recording of the Masterclass.

No. Once purchased, a Course becomes available to you immediately, and therefore cancellations or refunds are not possible.
